Radar chart
Spider chart; web chart; star chart; radial line graph; polar chart
This is a circular chart that has multiple axes radiating from the centre, and is used to plot and compare multiple variables for a single or multiple data series. It's useful for seeing which variables have high/low/similar values or if there are any outliers in each variable.
Limit the number of variables to a maximum of six to maintain readability. Use contrasting colours for each variable, and consider adding a grid for easier comparisons. Don't use when there are too many variables or categories, because this can make the chart cluttered and difficult to read.
To compare the performance of different companies on sustainability metrics such as carbon emissions, water usage and waste reduction.
Rate your company's performance in these areas from one to five: innovation, customer service, financial performance, employee engagement, and social responsibility.
