This is a circular chart that has multiple axes radiating from the centre, and is used to plot and compare multiple variables for a single or multiple data series. It's useful for seeing which variables have high/low/similar values or if there are any outliers in each variable.

Tips for use and when NOT to use

Limit the number of variables to a maximum of six to maintain readability. Use contrasting colours for each variable, and consider adding a grid for easier comparisons. Don't use when there are too many variables or categories, because this can make the chart cluttered and difficult to read.
