This is the same as a column chart but with columns plotted in a circle and radiating outward.

Tips for use and when NOT to use

Limit the number of categories and use contrasting colours for each column. For clarity, consider labelling each column with its value. Don't use if you have a lot of categories, you need to show precise values or you need to compare bar lengths.
