This is a branching diagram that illustrates hierarchical relationships, starting with a single root node and branching out into child nodes that represent sub-categories or elements.
Limit the depth of the hierarchy so you don't overwhelm the viewer — if the structure is too complex or deep, it's difficult to follow the relationships between categories. Use different colours or line styles to differentiate branches, and make sure that the size of the branches accurately represents the proportions of the data.
